Pip is a calm companion for recurring spend. It reads your email receipts to show everything you pay for, warns you before renewals, and helps you cancel on your terms. These terms explain the deal between you and Pip. Plain language, no surprises.

Pip is an independent product, currently in beta. By creating an account or using Pip, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Pip.

What Pip does

With your permission, Pip connects to your email through a read-only, official sign-in (OAuth) with Google or Microsoft. It looks for receipts, invoices, and renewal notices, and builds a list of your subscriptions from them. You can also add or edit entries by hand.

• Pip reads your email; it never receives your email password.
• Pip does not connect to your bank.
• You can disconnect a mailbox or delete your data at any time.

Cancellation help is always your call

When Pip helps you cancel something, you stay in control. Depending on the option you choose, Pip will remind you, draft a message or step-by-step instructions for your approval, or, where supported, guide the steps in your own logged-in browser and stop at the final button for you to press. Pip never impersonates you and never presses the final confirm on your behalf.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Pip.
• Use Pip for your own subscriptions, and don't try to break, overload, or misuse the service.

Accuracy

Pip builds your list from the receipts in your inbox using automated extraction, so it may miss a subscription that never emailed you a receipt, or occasionally read a detail wrong. Pip is a helpful view of your spending, not a definitive financial record. Always check the source (your actual statements and vendor accounts) before making a decision. Pip is not financial, tax, or legal advice.

Beta

Pip is still being built. Features may change, break, or be added and removed while we improve it. During the beta, Pip is provided "as is," without warranties, and we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, Pip and its maker aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for charges you incurred because a subscription wasn't detected or a reminder didn't reach you. Your remedy if you're unhappy is to stop using Pip and ask us to delete your data.

Ending things

You can stop using Pip and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we discontinue the service. On deletion, your connected mailboxes are disconnected and your stored data is removed.

Changes

We may update these terms as Pip grows. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email.
